Our 277 piece Dragon Mountain wooden jigsaw puzzle painting is by Washington illustrator Bryn Barnard. This is a great puzzle to put together as a family. It features Asian-themed multi-piece figurative whimsy pieces designed by Seattle graphic artist Jimmy Farmer: find the ninja, dragon, footbridge, kanji, towers, samurai, toad, helmut, and panda (click on the small image below the big image above to see example puzzle pieces). All our puzzles are made of 1/4" wood. Comes packaged in an unfinished pine wooden box. Warning: puzzle pieces can be a choking hazard for small children.

This 72 piece puzzle features Varangians - the Nordic river pirate cousins of the Vikings. The painting is by Nicholas Roerich and was painted in 1901. The 72 pieces include a number of river-themed whimsy pieces designed by Seattle artist Tara Flannery (click on the small image below the big image above to see example puzzle pieces). This 226 piece puzzle is a Fauvist rendering of the St. Paul Cathedral as seen from the River Thames in England. An oddity about the Thames is "swan upping": every year since the 15th century the locals ceremoniously capture and tag swans to mark ownership (please see wikipedia for further details). The 226 pieces in this puzzle include multi-piece figurative whimsy pieces celebrating swan upping designed by Seattle artist Maria Berg (click on the small image below the big image above to see example puzzle pieces). The image is a 1906 painting by Andre Derain. Andre Derain was called a Fauvist, which translates as "wild beast", for his ferocious disregard of the sobreity of real-world colors. All our puzzles are made of layers of hard and soft woods and measure roughly 1/4" thick. Comes packaged in an unfinished pine wooden box.
